A "Professional Certificate Program" is a grouping of courses in a single subject within an industry, profession, academic discipline or interest area. APT offers certificate programs in Telecommunications Technology and Electric Power Systems. Successful completion of an APT Professional Certificate Program requires mastery of the subject matter presented. In addition to the APT certification, successful completion of these professional programs gives students the level of mastery to qualify for testing for several national/international certifications programs: Federal Communications Commission, Fiber Optics Association, Association of Communications & Electronics Schools, International. APT can arrange for taking these affiliate exams or proficiency verification. Several APT courses include college credits recommended by the American Council on Education (ACE).

Each APT Professional Certificate Program provides a comprehensive presentation of the subject matter. We offer these programs as instructor led or self-paced distance learning courses. Students need not be enrolled in a Certificate program to take any of the courses listed above.
