Steven Blume is a registered professional engineer with a Masters of Science degree in Electrical Engineering specializing in electric power systems and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering specializing in Telecommunications. On top of this, Steve had also achieved a graduate minor degree in Managerial Sciences. Steve’s experience includes communications system design for the City of Los Angeles Police and Fire Departments and electric and telecommunications systems planning, engineering, operations and construction for Sierra Pacific Power Company. He holds many professional certificates, memberships in societies and is highly recognized in the electric power and telecommunications industries. Steve is the founder of APT.

Xavier Uribe has Master of Business Administration degree and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Technology/Electronics. He holds several industry certifications in telecommunications technologies, has excellent technical and communications skills and is dedicated to helping APT instructors lead students to career success. Xavier brings over 25 years experience from at&t central office, network design, data and voice communications technology and management.

Director Telecommunications Technologies: Tom Cawley
Tom Cawley has over 30 years of extensive knowledge and experience in advanced Voice and Data Communications systems. Most of his background is in Data Communications with emphasis in Wide Area Network planning, design, construction, maintenance and tech support as well as small to medium size Local Area Networks. Tom’s real life experiences, practical applications and knowledge in emerging technologies enable him to oversee the continuous development of all APT technical training materials in telecommunications.

Director of Telecommunication Sales and Marketing: Sheryl Kinzel
Sheryl Kinzel is a recognized industry professional in labor relations, hiring, staffing, career center management and human resources development for over 30 years with at&t. She is now responsible for overseeing APT’s District Representatives and marketing of telecommunications courses nationwide for key account customers.

Director of Electric Power and Utility Accounts: Michele Wynne
Michele Wynne has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering with 30 years experience in electric power system projects and engineering studies. She is recognized as an electric industry professional having extensive experience and now manages APT's electric power projects, provides staff engineering constancy, and assists with marketing and sales.

Technical support for our Electric Power course development programs, Online Courseware conversion, and Equipment Fundamentals/Coordination for all APT hands-ON delivery modules.

Instructors: Applied Professional Training, Inc. has several highly qualified industry professionals teaching classes in both electric power systems and telecommunications technologies. They average over 25 years experience, with formal degrees, industry certifications and understand APT's valued corporate philosophies and commitments to our customers. They teach from a basis of hands-on, real-world knowledge that can’t be equaled by someone with a purely academic background. Several of APT's instructors frequently make presentations at industry conferences and professional seminars. Several of them write technical papers and publish articles for other industry professionals.
