Communications Workers of America (CWA)
APT is a CWA represented vendor with Local 9509 out of San Diego, California and also works closely with IBEW. Why are union affiliations important? Because APT wants to help members achieve success in their careers or in changing careers by providing courses that teach valuable skills and the required knowledge to pass position entrance examinations. We also provide valuable industry certifications to help members promote and transfer to new job positions. (www.local9509.net)

Allied Printers Union (part of CWA)
APT's office staff are members of Local 14904, Allied Printing of Southern California #650. Note: ALL course materials, marketing flyers and brochures, correspondence materials, etc. are all printed by dues paying union members. APT is proud to help the United States workers by displaying its own union label “Allied Printing of Southern California # 650”.

Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE)
IEEE is the world’s leading non-profit professional organization for the advancement of technology. The IEEE is a leading authority on areas ranging from aerospace systems, computers and telecommunications to biomedical engineering, electric power and consumer electronics among others. Members rely on the IEEE as a source of technical and professional information, resources and services. Steve Blume, president and CEO of APT is a senior member of IEEE for over 30 years. North American Electric Reliability Council (NERC)
APT is recognized by NERC as a continuing education provider who adheres to NERC Continuing Education Program Criteria. NERC’s Continuing Education Program acknowledges high-quality training programs within the electric utility industry by approving continuing education providers that meet NERC guidelines and standards. APT was one of NERC’s first approved training providers. APT's NERC identification number is APT_016. APT continues to develop and deliver high quality training courses for electric power system operators. These courses include instructor-led, online, simulators, and hybrid courses to assure power system operators confidence in decision making when operating the complex power grids.

Association of Joint/Labor Management Educational Programs (AJLMEP)
APT has been recognized by this New York City based organization as meeting key objectives and has the organizational vision to provide life long career enhancing training at the skills level workforce to benefits both the employer and the employee. (www.workplacelearning.org)

American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO)
The AACRAO provides professional development guidelines and voluntary standards to be used by higher education officials regarding the best practices in records management, admissions, enrollment management, administrative information technology and student services. APT assures itself that all policies, procedures, documentation, etc. are at par with the most respected colleges and universities worldwide. (www.aacrao.org)

Positron Power Industries
APT provides High Voltage Protection for Telecommunications (HVPT) training to Positron’s worldwide customers. Positron and APT have had a professional business service relationship for over 10 years. Customers contacting Positron for HVPT training are referred to APT. APT in turn provides their technical training that results in additional sales for Positron.
